Preston and Kayla // Love.

Wednesday, October 3, 2012

It is with so much joy in my heart that I get to share this sweet engagement story with you! Preston and Kayla got engaged a few weeks ago and it was so much fun getting to be a part of their engagement story.  Preston called me to set up photography for his engagement and I could tell how excited he was to ask Kayla to be his wife.  I showed up to Texas A&M University on Friday September 14, 2012 and waited for the big reveal!  He had some of his buddies from the Corp of Cadets help him create an elaborate setting for the big question and it was pretty cool!  Earlier that day Kayla received her Aggie ring, but little did she know that there was an even better ring that she would receive that day.  They made their way to the Century Tree which is a pretty romantic spot on A&M's campus and that is where Preston had all of us waiting.  It was so sweet to watch Kayla walk up and realize what was about to happen. It was such a joy to have a front row seat to their proposal!  I hope you have fun witnessing their love story through these pictures!  Enjoy!

She said yes!!!

This is their friend who introduced them to each other.   What a great friend!

After everything had settled down a bit we had a mini-engagement session on A&M's campus and it was such a blast!  These two could not be more adorable together!

Preston and Kayla,

Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your love story!  I am so excited for you both and cannot wait for you guys to get married!  Preston, Thank you for serving our country and for fighting for our freedom. I am so thankful for the sacrifices you have made and are currently making as you are in Afghanistan.  I pray for the Lord's protection over you as you are away from your love and that he would bring you home safely and quickly.  Kayla, I pray for peace and joy as you are away from your sweetheart and that the Lord would comfort you as you await his return.  I pray for the Lord's blessings over both of you as you are apart from each other and prepare for your marriage.

Love,

Arlina
